Pass "$object" as 1st parameter in the "FormSubmissionHelper::getFieldByName" calls

When you try to use <inp2:formsubs_FormField name="FieldNameHere"/> tag in e-mail template you will get the following Fatal Error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function GetDBField() on a non-object in /path/to/project/core/units/helpers/form_submission_helper.php on line 86

This happens because form submission object isn't passed to getFieldByName method call. It's passed to the getFieldByRole method above though.

The error was there for a long time and nobody noticed it because tag isn't used in the "advanced" theme.
